IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE MASSACHUSETTS FUNERAL DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION
Our state funeral directors' association has informed us that a scam in the New Jersey area is targeting newly bereaved families. Although this has not been reported in our area, it's wise to make everyone aware of the situation. A call is placed to the family and the caller ID appears to be from the funeral home. The scammer posing as a funeral home employee says the funeral home needs the social security number of the survivors for documentation. NEVER GIVE PRIVATE INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE unless you have initiated the call. The funeral home would rarely, if ever, need a survivor's social security number. If a funeral home employee calls for legitimate information, he or she would be happy to take a return call from the family so everyone is sure the conversation is secure, confidential and with the proper people.
Looking for a specific memorial page? Look to the listing on the right for current services using the arrows at the bottom of the list to see additional pages. For a past service, select the title "Past Services" for the search page. Type the name in the search bar to find the record. All our memorial pages complete with obituaries, tributes and photos are archived at no cost to families.
If you cannot visit us in person, or if you wish to post a thoughtful message for other online visitors to read, please visit the Online Condolences: in this way you can still be with the family in thought by signing the online guestbook, expressing your condolences or sharing memories about the deceased, or be reminded of the anniversary of a death.
A Word about Flowers
In Massachusetts, funeral homes cannot sell flowers so we do not offer that service from our web site. To ensure quality work, prompt service and timely delivery, we encourage people to order flowers from local florists directly rather than through national company web sites. You may call the funeral home at 978-263-5333 and we can provide the name and number of the florist that the family has chosen. Thank you.
